Our Journey of Faith capital campaign is now underway! Leading up to the launch were months of preparation, and from this point forward, our church will devote time to the study, prayer, and fellowship necessary to make the important personal decisions we face. Our Journey of Faith will culminate on Celebration Sunday--December 8, 2002.

Based on current needs, Town and Country Lutheran Church and School will require $750,000 to 1 million to begin the process of improving our general fellowship areas and educational spaces:

Refurbishing the existing Parish Hall:

• Because of continuing and expanding ministries to all age groups at Town and Country a refurbishing of the parish hall is proposed. Our new "Community Life Center” will be able to accommodate a variety of ministries and activities.

Classroom construction and/or updating of current rooms:

• Another exciting aspect of our plan includes the updating of our older classrooms or constructing new ones. While one architectural drawing was requested and we have seen one vision of what might be, the building team has recently discovered more information about some innovative building techniques that might enable us to provide entire new learning spaces for primary use by our day school.

These two items represent our church’s challenge to move toward greater ministry
opportunities.

• As Our Journey of Faith is just that - a journey led by faith - we trust that God will provide even more ways for us to be good stewards of the money entrusted to this campaign.

On December 8th we will announce the final result of Our Journey of Faith,” and
celebrate what can happen when a church prayerfully unites its resources to follow
God’s will.
